The No Greater Sacrifice (NGS) Foundation launches Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at a headline event in Washington, DC. The mission of NGS is to fund college educations for the children of fallen military veterans from all branches of service.

"NGS is like a rapid funding strike force," says NGS founder & chairman Kirk T. Rostron. "We serve to fund existing charities such as the Navy SEAL Warrior Fund, the Marine Corps -- Law Enforcement Foundation, and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. We look to raise incremental charitable dollars from Wall Street to K Street and deliver those donations directly to these best-in-class charities without the help of professionally paid fundraisers and operated completely by volunteers, so these charities can deliver the results."

The launch event features the presentation of the first annual Freedom Award, presented this year to Colonel David W. Sutherland who is Brigade Commander of the U.S. Army's 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas. Sutherland's Greywolf team is credited with bringing greater peace and stability to the volatile Diyala Province in Iraq during the successful surge of 2007.

"Colonel Sutherland's mission and accomplishments in Iraq came at a great price," says retired federal judge and NGS board member, the Honorable Eugene R. Sullivan. "More than 100 of his soldiers paid the ultimate price for freedom. NGS exists to help the children of our fallen heroes."

Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Senator Joseph Lieberman (ID-CT), Senator John Thune (R-SD), former FBI director Louis Freeh, AOL founder James Kimsey along with military veterans from Walter Reed and the Bethesda Naval Hospital are among those expected to attend the launch reception in Washington.

No Greater Sacrifice Foundation is a District of Columbia not for profit corporation which has filed as an organization qualified for tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
