Tecnisa Net Income Grows 118% and Reaches R$20.6 Million

Tecnisa S.A. (BOVESPA: TCSA3), one of the largest developers of residential projects in Brazil, operating in development, construction and sales, today announces its results for the second quarter of 2007 (2Q07). Information contained herein is presented in Reais pursuant to Brazilian Corporate Law. The comments refer to the consolidated results and comparisons are with the second quarter of 2006 (2Q06) pro forma and the first quarter of 2007 (1Q07), except where otherwise stated.

Highlights:

-- In 2007, 9 new partnerships were signed, which significantly contributes to our geographical diversification and market segmentation process. We are currently present in 5 state capitals: Sao Paulo, Fortaleza, Curitiba, Salvador, Goiania and Brasilia, and we significantly increased our participation in the middle and middle-low segments.

-- We launched 5 projects in the 1H07, reaching a total PSV (Tecnisa's share) of R$249.3 million;

-- Our contracted sales grew by 56.2% to R$164.9 million in the 1H07 compared to 1H06, mainly due to the launches occurred during the first six months of the year;

-- Acquisition of 16 new land lots in 1H07, representing a potential PSV of R$3.1 billion.
