Pentagon Contract Worth Potential $15 Million to MTC

MTC Technologies, Inc. This is the second of four additional three- year options awarded with the basic three-year, cost plus award fee contract that began January 2, 2001.

MTC is one of five integrated companies, led by Alion Science and Technology, collectively known as the "A-Team." Consisting of some 320 employees, the A-Team provides professional services primarily to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ) and Under Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition (SAF/USA), with acquisition- related support to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Joint Program Office and other Pentagon organizations.

MTC members of the team provide expertise on all facets of Air Force materiel acquisition, including capabilities development; operational and developmental testing; technology insertion; DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); and Congressional coordination.
