American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will begin a daily nonstop flight between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Bishop International Airport in Flint, Mich.

American Eagle will operate the daily round-trip service using Canadair 70-seat CRJ-700 jets. The service will start Sept. 5.

"American Eagle is excited to add service to Flint from our Dallas/Fort Worth hub," said American Eagle President and CEO Peter Bowler. "In addition to daily service from Chicago, travelers from Flint will have convenient connections to destinations throughout the country and the world on American and American Eagle."

"Chicago O'Hare service on American Eagle has been so popular, that adding nonstop service to their DFW hub seemed like a natural way for our passengers to increase their options to fly to Mexico and the West Coast," said Michael P. Manley, Chairman of the Board of the Bishop International Airport Authority.
