08-02-2018 - press.abc-directory.com -- Advanced Time Synchronizer, a software product that connects PCs to public time servers, has been updated, Southsoftware.com has announced. The software works with public time servers and connects them to a computer over the Internet, supporting three different time synchronization protocols. It is able to update a computer system's time over one hour to one month, or at intervals specified by the user.
Time servers are specified on a list. Each one is sampled multiple times, while a timestamp is used to identify the fastest sample to account for network delays. The software, therefore, provides a higher level of accuracy than similar programs on the market.
Advanced Time Synchronizer supports Simple Network Time Protocol, Time Protocol, and Daytime Protocol and several types of proxy servers. Compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista, 7, and 8, 32- and 64-bit systems, the software is able to synchronize the clocks of PCs across the network. An unlimited number of servers can be added to the list and configured.
The software features a list of pre-defined time servers, taking the guesswork out of operating it. Working over the LAN and accessible from the computer's system tray, it also shows tips during operation and stores statistics of time synchronization attempts. The multi-language interface makes the product ideal for a wide range of users.
