Lynden International Names Managers in Dallas and Houston

SEATTLE, Sept. 23, 2011 -- Lynden International welcomes Ron Taylor as District Sales Manager at the Dallas Service Center and announces the promotion of Charles Odom to District Manager in Houston. Taylor will focus on developing business in the North Texas and Oklahoma markets, and Odom will be responsible for operations and sales in Houston focusing on the oil and gas industry.
A 20-year veteran of the transportation industry, Taylor held key operations and sales management roles at Tailwind Air Charters where he specialized in international crisis transportation solutions for automotive, oil and gas, aerospace and government clients. He also held management positions at Delta Air Lines in Texas and Oregon. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of North Texas and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Odom is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a member of the CSCMP, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), International Transportation Managers Association (ITMA) and Texas State Wireless Association (TXWA). Prior to being named District Manager, Odom was the Business Development Director for Oil & Gas for Lynden International.
