Airborne, the number-one-selling herbal health formula, announced they will be giving filmmakers an extra few days to get in submissions for "The Germy’s," an online film contest that will take two lucky winners to the 2007 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
To be eligible, contestants must cleverly incorporate Airborne into their films. Whether it’s a spoof of the renowned Germ Guy character or an artistic interpretation of the effervescent Airborne fizzing, Airborne wants aspiring filmmakers to get creative!
Germy’s will be awarded in two categories — Amateur Films (30-90 seconds) and Professional Films (90 seconds to 3 minutes). Consumers will vote on the top 50 films from each category.
The top 10 filmmakers in each category will receive exclusive Airborne gift bags, just like the ones the stars get at Sundance; and one contestant from each category will win a three-day/two-night trip to Park City.
For each entry, Airborne will donate $1 to the Airborne Teacher Trust Fund. The deadline for entries is now December 15, 2006. Entries can be uploaded or mailed to:
