On Thursday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at a Newsmakers press conference on Haiti relief efforts, Niurka Pineiro, spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration; Nan Buzard, Senior Director of International Response and Programs for the American Red Cross; Jennifer Parmelee, Public Affairs Officer, UN World Food Program and Jaspreet K. Singh, representative of the United Sikhs will discuss the earthquake in Haiti.
The panel discussion will take place in the Zenger Room, 13th Floor, National Press Club, 529, 14th St. NW, Washington, D.C. at 2 p.m. on Feb. 18.
Donna Leinwand of USA Today, former NPC president and Tejinder Singh, freelance journalist, will also discuss their reporting on the earthquake aftermath.
