Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), announced today that Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN), a leading global automotive parts manufacturer, is deploying Teradata technology to build its global business-reporting environment into a true enterprise data warehouse.

Teradata is providing Tenneco a data warehouse with its market-leading analytical software, Manufacturing Logical Data Model (MLDM) and professional and customer services. The new system also includes data integration software from Teradata partner IBM IIS, formerly Ascential Datastage.

As verified by current Teradata automotive clients, Teradata’s MLDM expedites the planning and implementation process. Tenneco will be able to measure progress more accurately, realizing a faster return on investment for the enterprise data warehouse.
