This specialized sourcing show opens today at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong and runs to Oct. 15.

This year marks the 11th edition of the Fair and is the biggest yet, with over 2,900 booths from 15 countries and regions. There are over 2,200 booths from mainland China alone. Also scheduled to exhibit are suppliers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and the U.S.

Growing future for China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components

The next stop for this highly successful event is Mumbai, India on Nov. 14-16 (to be managed by Pico Event Management under license from Global Sources). In 2009, the show is due to take place in Hong Kong; Dubai, UAE and Mumbai, India, making it the only electronics sourcing show in the world to take place four times annually in three locations.

To meet growing demand for exhibition space at the China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components, Global Sources plans to add an extra hall, accommodating 400 booths, to the Hong Kong event in October 2009.
