Antenna Technology Communications Inc., a provider of commercial satellite communications systems, today announced that it has integrated a complete Fly Away Broadcast System for HNDC. ATCi provided a fully redundant, state-of-the-art Fly Away System that HNDC will lease to area broadcasters such as CNN, BBC and Al-Jazeera, who will in turn transmit live or pre-recorded programming and events throughout Kuwait and the Middle East.
ATCi customized and integrated the fly away package to meet HNDC's unique application and budgetary requirements. ATCi provided a motorized SNG 1.2 Meter antenna-based turn-key system that is configured to be vehicle mounted. Training for the system took place at the customer site and was included in the packaged price.
"We selected the ATCi Fly Away package because of the Company's long standing reputation in satellite communications," said Husain Jamal, HNDC. "The ATCi Fly Away is the highest quality system at the most competitive price -- and their customer service, intensive training system, and engineering expertise in this area is unmatched," Jamal, HNDC concluded.
"We are pleased to have been selected by HNDC as their turn-key solution provider," said Gary Hatch, ATCi's CEO. "Broadcasters, Production facilities, Universities, Military, Government and corporations in virtually every industry and country have voiced the need to own and control their own content. ATCi's Fly Away system is another indication of the Company's dedication to responding to market demands by designing and delivering tailored, turn-key systems," Hatch concluded.
ATCi will be showcasing the Fly Away System and related satellite communication products at the following upcoming conferences: Communicasia, June 18-20 in Singapore, and SCTE's Cable Tec Expo, June 25-27, in Philadelphia.
