Fresh Harvest Products, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: FRHV.OB) announced today that it has started a food service division for its coffee products. Fresh Harvest has several food service clients, and we believe that there is a great opportunity to expand into the organic coffee food service industry.
"The Wings of Nature(TM) retail coffee line sells well and after requests from several restaurants and cafes to supply them with bulk coffee for their food service operations management, we decided that creating a new division for our food service coffee strategically makes sense. We believe that this new division will provide a new revenue stream for Fresh Harvest as well as increase our gross profit margins," commented Dominick Cingari, Chief Operating Officer.
"We are working on hiring personnel to focus on our food service coffee sales and grow this division. We believe that there is a demand in this market sector and we would like to significantly increase our market penetration," Mr. Cingari commented.
The Wings of Nature(TM) organic coffee are unique, being roasted in smaller batches in two different types of roasting machines to a temperature that peaks the flavor and aroma of the specific variety of bean and brings out the best characteristics of each bean. We blend our beans after roasting to produce one of the smoothest coffees available. We offer over 30 varieties of coffees and we custom roast and develop blends for certain customers as well.
A Socially Responsible Coffee
Wings of Nature(TM) offers a unique combination of premium coffee at competitive prices that are socially responsible. Our coffees are all Certified USDA Organic and Certified Kosher. They are made only from high quality Grade A Arabica beans, custom blended and master roasted by our personal master coffee roaster. We also use Fair Trade and Shade Grown beans (where possible).
Fresh Harvest supports several non-profit organizations which help set up and provide education, health-care, training and micro-enterprise programs for coffee farmers and their families in Latin America.
The coffees are also available online at and at select retail outlets at a suggested retail price of $8.99 per 12-ounce bag.
