Market reminder: No ex-dividend trading for Domtar Inc. Series A and Series B Preferred Shares

Domtar Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Domtar Corporation, wishes to remind the market that further to its press release of November 22, 2007 announcing the redemption of its Series A and Series B Preferred Shares on December 21, 2007, the record date of November 30, 2007 for dividends that would have been payable January 2, 2008 is no longer effective and as such, there will be no ex-dividend trading in these shares.
