Companies Selected for Invest Southwest Capital Conference	Popularity: Views: 116

Fourteen companies have been selected to present their business plans to accredited investors and venture capitalists from around the country at the Invest Southwest Capital Conference. The early stage and emerging growth companies from Arizona, California, and New Mexico are seeking $250,000 to $5 million in capital. In addition, after the presentations, one of these companies will be selected to receive an investment of $200,000 from SCF Arizona. The conference, to be held at the Four Seasons Resort at Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona, features an Investors' Reception the evening of December 12th, and an Investors' Update, presentations by the selected companies, and a presenting company exhibit hall on December 13th. The conference's keynote speaker will be Geoffrey Moore, author of Crossing the Chasm. For the second consecutive year, The Miller Group will be the conference's title sponsor and ASU Technopolis will serve as the Administrative Host for the conference. The 14 presenting companies were selected from 64 applicants that participated in a competitive process before being selected to present at the conference by a screening panel of experienced investors and venture capitalists. "The quality of these companies and their innovative products and services demonstrates the investment potential of early stage and emerging growth companies based in the Southwest.
