Celsia Technologies

Celsia Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: ICUR), a full solution provider and licensor of thermal management products and technology for the PC, consumer electronics, lighting and display industries, today announced it has received a commercial order for its NanoSpreader(tm) technology from Chip Hope Co., Ltd. (Chip Hope), a leading Taiwanese producer of optoelectronics and flash memory series products.

Celsia's NanoSpreader(tm) will be integrated into a new advanced street light solution produced by Chip Hope. This innovative street light application design offers all of the benefits associated with LED technology: lower energy consumption, improved longevity and increased quality. Test units with identical specifications to the commercial order were received by Chip Hope in June 2006 and were approved for a commercial order following their extensive reliability and performance testing. The NanoSpreader(tm) is positioned between the heat sink and the array LED modules. This design provides for a very uniform temperature cooling solution that transfers heat quicker and more efficiently than traditional thermal management solutions. Celsia's NanoSpreaders(tm) have decreased the LED temperature more than 50% compared with traditional thermal management solutions in this particular design.

Hakan Wretsell, Chief Executive Officer of Celsia Technologies, said, "Our initial commercialization focus on the LED market has continued to demonstrate positive results. This latest commercial order demonstrates that Celsia is clearly becoming a strong thermal management candidate for leading LED suppliers on a global basis. Chip Hope is a very focused company with a strong technology portfolio and we are pleased that they have recognized Celsia's technology for their LED street light application. This is an enormous opportunity for us as it will demonstrate the potential of our technology in a relevant and necessary real-world application. We expect that this commercial order will result in a successful relationship between Chip Hope and Celsia and we look forward to working with Chip Hope on future LED projects in the general illumination market."

Jeffrey C.T. Hsieh, Ph.D., Vice President, Optoelectronics Division of Chip Hope, commented, "We have carefully evaluated Celsia's thermal management solution and have observed great results from their NanoSpreader(tm). Given the test results and strong team at Celsia, we have selected Celsia's technology in our commercial market activities for street light applications. We are very excited about our latest LED-technology product and we have already received great interest from the market. We expect that this street light solution will be followed by other successful LED applications, which will include Celsia's innovative and flexible technology."
