Calling All Road Warriors

Between now and Aug. 31, 2007, self-proclaimed Road Warriors are invited to enter the sixth annual American Way Road Warrior Search, a promotion that's attracted more than 42,000 American Airlines customers since its inception in 2001. In addition to being featured on the Jan. 15, 2008, cover of American Way magazine, the winners will receive prizes as extreme as their travel schedules.

"Our readers look forward to sharing their travel stories with us every year," said Sherri Burns, editor of American Way. "We know some will enter for the glory of being crowned one of our top five warriors, but this year's prizes are the real deal."

Throughout July and August, readers may enter the contest by visiting http://www.americanwaymag.com/roadwarrior where they will be asked to complete a short survey before moving on to the fun stuff.

"This year, we are asking contestants to upload photos that they feel best depict their life on the road, along with catchy captions," said Burns. "We also want to challenge their creativity, so participants must write a haiku (yes, just like being back in high school). And last, the easy part is a multiple-choice quiz."

American Way magazine readers will vote for the Grand Prize winner, as well as Second and Third Prize winners, from the top five Road Warrior finalists selected by the American Way editorial staff.

The Grand Prize winner will receive two million HILTON HHONORS(R) Bonus points, which can be used at more than 2,800 participating Hilton Family hotels worldwide, one million AADVANTAGE(R) Bonus Miles, and a two-year Admirals Club(R) membership.
