As a journalist and TV reporter, Liane Weintraub brings an influential emphasis on environmental and community initiatives to Tastybaby. Both as a member of the media and in her private life, Liane has had a long-standing commitment to environmental and children's causes. She serves on the Leadership Council of the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), one of the world's leading environmental agencies and on the Advisory Board of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. In addition, she is actively involved with water clean-up through the Malibu Legacy Park Project, promotes socially-responsible business practices as a member of NRDC's E2, works on the campaign for literacy with the LA Library Foundation and participates in arts outreach programs for disadvantaged children through Center Dance Arts, a charitable organization she founded in 2000.
