SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center to Close Wednesday, May 2	Popularity: Views: 2206

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announces today that due to a steady decrease of activity, the Disaster Loan Outreach Center located in Coffee County will close Wednesday, May 2. SBA is urging disaster victims to visit the Center before the closing to obtain one-on-one assistance and information about SBA's disaster assistance program. SBA is also encouraging those victims receiving applications to return the completed applications as quickly as possible. The Center is located at: Coffee County Enterprise Civic Center 711 Crawford Street Enterprise, AL 36330 Hours:Monday -- Wednesday; 8 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. Closes:Wednesday, May 2 at the close of business "We want to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Enterprise Civic Center in Coffee County," said Frank Skaggs, Director of SBA Field Operations Center East. "By providing the facility for our Disaster Loan Outreach Center, they have helped disaster victims in their community. We deeply appreciate their generosity." Those unable to visit the Center and who have registered with FEMA may obtain an application by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center at 1-800- 659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the hearing-impaired) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. EDT and (this weekend April 28 -29, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Business loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA website at http://www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance. Completed applications should be returned to the Center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX. 76155. The filing deadline to return applications for property damage is May 2, 2007. The filing deadline to return applications for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) is December 3, 2007.
