Pepperdine Business School Inaugurates New Executive Director of Corporate Relations Office

Kim A. Weiss has accepted the newly-created position of executive director, Recruitment and Corporate Relations, for the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University.

Reporting to Michael Sims, Executive Officer, Corporate & External Relations for the Graziadio School, Weiss will lead the business school's strategic plan for attracting and retaining quality candidates into its educational programs, which offer bachelor's and master's degrees for full- time recipients and the fully-employed at all career levels. In this first- time leadership role for the school she will partner with corporations and key business trade groups and increase MBA and Bachelor Completion-program focus on major corporations in California that have substantial tuition reimbursement policies.

"Kim Weiss will guide customer-focused business initiatives with emphasis on driving student enrollment globally for MBA and Bachelor degree completion programs," said Linda A. Livingstone, dean of the Graziadio School. "Additionally, she will be responsible for co-branded initiatives, corporate partnerships, on-site degree program recruitment and recruitment of specialized programs such as our highly regarded Morning MBA."

Weiss joins the Graziadio School from Hewlett Packard Company, where she held successive positions of increased responsibility in business development and corporate sales management. Most recently, she served as a partner business manager for HP's largest U.S. commercial distribution partner, Ingram Micro, responsible for category management of the HP Imaging and Printing business.

Weiss graduated with a BA, Summa cum Laude, from State University of New York at Buffalo.
